Updating Sept 2026.
This blog has been inactive for too long and lots has happened. After one of the driest and hottest years on record we have at last had some rain- The most since March. 22 millimetres the other day in one hour, 8.8 millimetres the other day and 5.6 millimetres today. The ditches at the south end of the reserve had all dried out but the ones to the right hand side of the boardwalk are now showing some water. The Alec Martin pond still remains dry.
